NLOG local walks protocol
- Please ensure you have familiarised yourself with the fact sheets before joining a walk.
- Please could all walk leaders send the local walks coordinator the names of all attendees.
- If you would like a lift or are able to offer one, please use the group email to arrange this with group members.
- Unfortunately we no longer allow dogs to join us on our walks.
- You take part in all events at your own risk.

| Sunday 9th | DAY WALK - BARNET TO MILL HILL - A 10 mile circular walk from Barnet Everyman, following the Dollis Valley to Woodside Park, through Darlands Nature Reserve towards Mill Hill, then on to Totteridge Fields Nature Reserve and back along the Dollis Valley. Bring a packed lunch. Walk leader: Leon Meet: For a 9.45am start at Barnet Everyman. |

| Sunday 16th | WALK/GALLERY - WALTHAMSTOW WETLANDS - A walk around the Walthamstow Wetlands taking in Walthamstow market and the William Morris Gallery in Lloyd Park wmgallery.org.uk (Forest Road, London, E17 4PP) where there is a cafe and toilets. Departing from the entrance to the Wetlands wildlondon.org.uk and ending at the Ferry Boat Inn which serves food https://www.heritagepubs.co.uk/ferry-boat-tottenham. Tottenham Hale tube (Victoria line) and the overground station are a short walk away from the start of the walk. There is a car park at the Wetlands that closes at 4pm and charges by the hour. | Sunday 23rd | DAY WALK - FINSBURY PARK TO ALEXANDRA PALACE - A 9 mile circular walk starting at Finsbury Park station, following a green route to Alexandra Palace (there is a possibility to leave the walk early here), looping back round to Finsbury Park via a section of the New River. Please bring a packed lunch. Chance to stop off for coffee and cake near the end. Walk leader: Leon Meet: for a prompt start at 10:30am at Finsbury Park Station entrance (Station Place, near the tube barriers). |

| Sunday 16th | DAY WALK - FORTY HALL - A 10 mile circular walk starting at the Jolly Farmers Pub. The walk will take us through open countryside into Whitewebbs Park, Forty Hall and Hilly Fields. Please bring a packed lunch, alternatively food and drink can be purchased at Forty Hall cafe. | Sunday 4th | HALF DAY WALK - CASSIOBURY PARK, WATFORD - A 6 mile circular walk in Cassiobury Park. The route takes us by the River Gade, Grand Union Canal towards Chandler’s cross and into Whippendell, Blackets and Dolly’s Woods which are often blanketed in bluebells at this time of year. Refreshments are available afterwards at Daisy’s cafe in the park. Walk leader: Claire Meet: at 9:50am for 10am start at Cassiobury Park Car Park, Gade Ave, Watford WD18 7LG |
