Day Walk - Therfield - Kelshall - Reed - Royston - 14 mile circular
Day walk through picturesque villages of North Hertfordshire – some being winners of ‘best kept village’. Plenty of views to absorb as we will be walking the ‘Alps’ of Hertfordshire reaching the dizzy height of 519 feet above sea level at Reed. We will be keeping an eye out for the rare Pasque flower and even rarer burnt tip orchid, both allegedly local to the area.
Meet: 10.30 prompt departure outside The Fox and Duck, The Green, Therfield, Royston, SG8 9PN (do not park in pub car park). Note - AA gives travel time of 55 minutes from Barnet.
